Repair and Maintenance Technician, east coast of Vancouver Island, BC
As a Repair and Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for maintaining all physical assets of Cermaq Canada, including generators, compressors, buildings, small engines and a variety of other equipment. You’ll get the chance to work with and live with a group of hardworking, dedicated employees. Housing is provided and is well-equipped with exercise equipment, satellite tv, and Internet. This role is a great opportunity if you enjoy working on the ocean, expanding your mechanical skills, and contributing to our communities through sustainable aquaculture. This position will be primarily based out of Campbell River and Port McNeil with company provided bus and boat transportation. Netwashing Vessel Operator, Campbell River, BC
The role will be part of a newly created team, responsible for serving our farms using our new netwashing vessel and equipment. The four-person team is camp based, and works in two shifts – eight days working, six days off. The role of Netwashing Vessel Operator will work the opposite shift from the Netwashing Vessel Supervisor to continue the running of the equipment at the farm sites and oversee a Netwashing Vessel Technician. This role is responsible for advancing Cermaq Canada’s vision by providing leadership in the area of Netwashing sea pens and contributing to a healthy production environment for premium quality fish. Financial Accountant (two positions to be filled) Campbell River, BC
Cermaq Canada is seeking two Financial Accountants to join our Finance team at our Campbell River office in a permanent, full-time capacity. If you enjoy detail-oriented work, a fast-paced environment, and accounting processes then we want to hear from you! Reporting to the Assistant Financial Controller, these positions will perform accounting duties related to analyzing financial information, reconciling financial transactions, and preparing accurate, timely financial reports and statements while ensuring compliance with Cermaq accounting control procedures. Process Technicians (multiple vacancies), Tofino, BC
We are currently accepting applications for Processing Technicians to join our dynamic operations located out of our Tofino Operations. During this time, we will be providing our field employees with:
- An hourly pay of $18.45 plus a daily bonus dependent on production speeds and attendance targets. If met, the bonus can exceed an additional $5.50/hr.
- Immediate enrollment into our employer paid benefits.
- Multiple full-time and casual positions available
- Thoroughly sanitized transportation by bus and boat to the Cermaq Processing Plant, and increased number of vessels and busses used to provide socially distant transportation to our employees.

Process and Efficiency Director, Campbell River, BC
Cermaq Canada is seeking to fill the role of a permanent, full-time Process & Efficiency Director. The successful candidate will actively contribute to the strategic mandate of the organization developing, collaborating on the implementation, and monitoring of the continuous production improvements for increased profitability. This is a new role, reporting to the Managing Director. As a member of the Executive, the Director will have the full support of the management team to bring their expertise to bare on our operations.
